Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 June 2026
1. The service
glucodroid.cloud accepts continuous glucose monitor (CGM) data uploaded by any Nightscout-compatible CGM app (xDrip+, GlucoDroid, JugglucoNG, Juggluco, Diaparser, Diabox, and others) and serves the readings through a standard Nightscout API endpoint. The service is provided as infrastructure only. We do not interpret, analyse, or act on your glucose data.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to create an account. Parents or guardians may create and manage an account on behalf of a minor in their care.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your API secret (account password) secure. We cannot retrieve it if lost.
- Your subdomain is unique to you and non-transferable.
- You must not share your account credentials or allow third parties to use your account to relay data that is not your own (or that of a person in your care).
- You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to relay data from a person without their informed consent.
- Attempt to access another user's data or account.
- Reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the service infrastructure.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Medical disclaimer
glucodroid.cloud is a relay service — it does not verify the accuracy of glucose readings. Readings depend on the accuracy of your CGM sensor, the application used, and the network connection between them. Do not make clinical or dosing decisions based solely on data from this service. In an emergency, contact the relevant emergency services immediately.
6. Service availability
We aim to keep the service available at all times but make no uptime guarantee. The service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may carry out maintenance, apply security updates, or take the service offline without prior notice. We are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability.
7. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the service you confirm you have read and understood it.
8. Intellectual property
You own your glucose data. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit it solely for the purpose of providing the relay service. We claim no rights over your health data.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting privacy@glucodroid.cloud. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, glucodroid.cloud and its operators are not liable for:
- Any clinical or health outcomes arising from use of the service.
- Loss or corruption of glucose data.
- Service interruptions or data transmission failures.
- Any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be notified by email if you have provided one.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
